Let me ask you, if you are scared to sell it because of Cap Gains, then when will you think it will ever be the time to record a cap gain? I wouldnt hold my breath that the Government is going to abolish taxes any time soon - LOL!

I don't know what the cap gains rate is in Canada, but in the US it is 20% for long term (1 year plus). Legislation will soon be introduced in the House to lower it to 15%. I believe it will be totally eliminated within the next ten years along with a complete overhaul of our federal tax system.

BTW, since you profess to having no position in MSFT or NOVL, what do you care about the short or long term prognosis for either stock price? Since Canadian penny stocks seem to be your area of expertise, what's your outlook for a possible rebound in Bre-X, for instance? Another speculative play just like MSFT, for sure.
