You're probably right, Denis (welcome back, BTW), but realistically, Ashton has barely just begun. We are just in a different market environment. We want gold for the price of pyrite! We want diamonds for the price of lead crystal! Ashton has really blazed a speedy trail here.
Proving up a deposit takes time. This is an enormous discovery, and located in a more accommodating environment than some: weather, gov't, infrastructure, & ammenities-wise.
I think, as you say, the market wants big things, and right now Ashton seems priced as though it doesn't expect them. We'll see how things go after the next NR. . . just thinking out loud. As Kaiser pointed out, many resource juniors have been exited by the institutions for greener pastures, and mostly retail investors are now the players. Ergo the seeming bottomless prices on some! - When the turn comes in this sector, it'll be fast. When... ?
