Hmmm.., Interesting thought..., The Smith Barney analyst thought that Microsoft would be the first to back out because they are having trouble selling their NT servers to banks because of MSFDC, the analyst also thought that even if MS backed out that FDC would continue because they need bill presentment. IMO if MS backed out FDC would have no choice but to disolve or find another major partner (Citi?).

When you say "make an offer for CKFR", do you mean a buyout? cause I think they have already tried that.
