Almost from day one I said that AMZN would be forced into vertical integration. This often happens when the margins are low and the competition is fierce.

Also, AMZN is not very different from QVC or L.L.Bean. If you want rough estimates of their potential market, those should give them to you. There's nothing particularly revolutionary about ordering something from a web page instead of a printed catalogue.
