Conference call yesterday was short and matter-of-factly neutral. "Weird," as the main-threaders put it. While Divicom is our champion on the communications side, Alex said not to expect big things on the consumer side until codec reaches mass market--still many quarters away, I'm guessing. CUBE's consumer biz is what people understand, and CUBE's hype and "sexiness" to the casual follower is mostly DVD. Frankly, this is shaping up to be another disappointing year for DVD, and I think Alex was dancing around that lest a reasonably good quarter and decent growth prospects going forward sound like a disappointment.

The analysts sensed this, and didn't talk about DVD at all, and didn't have much interest in anything else. All the best,

Cam
