C. Howard Wilkins, Jr. has served on the Board of Directors since May 1994. He founded the Company in 1982 and served as Chairman of the Board until 1989 when he resigned in order to become the Ambassador to the Netherlands. He served as Ambassador to the Netherlands until 1992. Mr. Wilkins was the founder, President and Chairman of the Board of Pizza Corporation of America, a publicly held company traded on the American Stock Exchange and the largest Pizza Hut franchisee with 270 restaurants, until 1975 when Pizza Corporation of America merged with Pizza Hut, Inc. His private investments include Pizza Hut restaurants located in Texas and New Mexico and several other specialty restaurants. Howard received his Bachelor's Degree from Yale University in 1960.
Chris F. Hotze has been President and Director of the Company since the Company's inception in 1982. Chris became Chairman of the board in 1989. He began his career in the restaurant business in 1965 as an employee of Pizza Hut, Inc. where he held various management positions including Corporate Director of Training. In 1972, he joined Pizza corporation of America as Regional Vice President. In 1975 he joined Maverick Development Corporation which managed Pizza Hut restaurants in Massachusetts and South Carolina and served as its President until 1983. Chris received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University in 1970.
Alan L. Bundy has been Executive Vice President and Director of the company since the acquisition by the Company of the Amarillo Mesquite Grill restaurant chain in June 1996. Alan founded Amarillo Mesquite Grill restaurant in 1982 and established four restaurants by the time these restaurants were sold to the Company. Prior to that, Alan had over six years of restaurant management experience. He is in charge of overseeing the management and further development of the Amarillo Mesquite Grill restaurant chain.
Linn F. Hohl has been Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary of the company since the Company's inception in 1982, a Director since 1986 and Secretary of the Company since 1992. Linn was employed as a Certified Public Accountant KPMG Peat Marwick LLP, from 1962 to 1972. In 1972, he joined Pizza Corporation of America as Assistant Controller. From 1975 to 1981, he served as personal accountant for Mr. C. Howard Wilkins, Jr. Linn received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University in 1962.
Mitch A. Hauber has been the Director of Operations of the Company since the acquisition of the Amarillo Mesquite Grill restaurant chain in June 1996. Mitch has 18 years of experience in restaurant operations, 12 with Alan Bundy, founder of Amarillo Mesquite Grill, and six with Steak & Ale Corporation. He is in charge of developing management personnel while ensuring the Standard Operating Procedures of the Company.
James C. Carlton has been Director of Corporate Communications since January 1, 1998. Jim's background is in the investment business, having been a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch from 1985-1988 and with Stifel Nicolaus from 1988-1995. Jim was Chief Investment Advisor and later became President of Clayton Asset Management from 1995-1997. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from St. Louis University in 1981. Jim is in charge of Investor Relations for the Company.
