Luis,

I don't know how long "near term" is, but it is possible.

One of the special feature of Aurora is the removable bottom rings on the pattented breast coils, which allows access to the breasts once the patient table is pulled out. The patient breast position has not changed relative to the coils. The doctor is then able to insert the needle to do biopsy. I would imagine that there is still a lot work left to be done to determine the exact location of the lesion.

What you are refering to in your message are non-magnetic devices that get inserted during a scan and can be actively guided to the lesions. I don't know what companies are involved. Correct me if this is not what you meant.
