I found this article in Communications Week (Dec 2 page 37). I wonder if Amati's involved in this actual service offering. Full Speed Ahead At GTE GTE Media Ventures said it will bring "warp" speed" Internet access to residential and business customers in Clearwater, FL, with a new cable modem. The 4 megabits per second service is available to areas now served by GTE's advanced video services network, which passes about 96,000 homes in Clearwater. --------- Sorry, but I've got the magazine, no URL. It can be found under techweb.com. After being around for so long, it nice to be able to contribute something to this group. I had keep quiet until LU sold CAP earlier this year. So long for now.
