"Experiencing problems" = Broken wire plant

The problem is not with ADSL, at least not if it is "Standards" based --> DMT. In order to get any kind of performance (high data rate at long distances) out of a CrAP modem you've got to pump a lot of power into the line which will inevitably break the wire plant --> crosswalk. Gee, maybe BA should have paid attention to the T1E1 committee instead of running off in an attempt to create their little de-facto standard --> CrAP. F'en amateurs. Hope the street can sort through this.
