To tell you the truth, no one knows if its a buy or a sell. The uptick, downtick, ask/buy trade, whatever, is just a bunch of bs. My service had it listed as a Sell. I have no idea how they classify. I have e-mailed them, but I have not receaved an answer. I do know that its not based on up/down tick, trade price change, or bid/ask trade. I think its based on how it goes in and out of the MMs. If the MM holds it, its a buy. If he lets someone else buy it, its a sell. I dont know, just a wild guess. Since MM information is kind of hard to get, i base sell/buy on how the trade price changes. Since it went down and stayed down for the next 10 or 11 trades I would have to say it was a sell. As far as your reasoning it was a buy since it went at the bid... you have to remember that Cymer has more than one MM(more like 8), each one has his own price and vol. Anyone of them could have made the trade and its getting to complicated for me right now so I am going to leave it at that. |
