I looked at this company about a year ago and it appeared to have potential or growth. For whatever reason I did not purchase and forgot about it. Recently I started getting Investors Business daily and by looking at a news article and the RS and EPS/RS it peaked my interest.
The news article mentioned their acquiring Xycon another PCB manufacturer in California. This acquisition will make them the largest PCB manufacturer in the US. There was a conference call that I listened to and the discussion covered the worldwide distribution of their products, the value of having local manufacturing in a number of areas. But more importantly it seems that Xycon has a technology for including buried resistors and capacitors in the boards. This technology will be owned by Hadco once the acquisition is completed.
After looking at the fundamentals, listening to the conference call and reveiwing some of my notes on my previous interest I decided to buy even though the market is looking like it may correct. IMHO this company is a well managed, leader in its industry. As the Surface Mount Technology Assembly industry moves forward it is constantly putting greater demands on its bare board suppliers. These folks appear to keep pace with the industry's needs. Anyone having information please post would like support for my opinion. If anyone has negative data lay it on me as we always need to have our opinions challenged.
