Coming of age in the shadow of the revolution.. Yeah, the late seventies were an era of wholesale burnout, self-absorbed music, disjointed thought, and confused purpose. Witness Disco, Wip Inflation Now, Billy Beer, and the Chevy Vega. I suppose that Saturday Night Live may have kept the late seventies from being a total wash out. I don't want to digress into nostalgic blathering. It makes me feel ill... What I want to know is what happened to all those hippies during the late seventies? I think that there are a few of them are hanging out on this thread.
