Re: TOM

My questions and comments for everybody's input:

The company is doing business solely in China, which is some 13,000 miles away, on the other side of the globe. Not that this is anything wrong, and perhaps it has important contacts in China, but why not sell its leading products here in Canada and U.S also? Why is it just doing business in China?

Wouldn't conducting business on the other side of the globe be problematic and costly in terms of executing strategies and directing the day to day operations? How do you effectively manage a business which is operating in a 12 hour difference time zone?

How competitive and technologically advanced are its telecommunications equipment compared to the competitors here in North America?

What are the risks of having all your operations in an emerging market? We've all heard stories of small Canadian companies raising capital here for doing business in China, the world largest concentration of population. Have you heard of any success stocks doing this?

Doing business in an emerging country always carries a higher degree of risk. What discount should be applied in the stock price to compensate for the additional risk?

Comments and views please!

PS if anyone feel like contacting its IR person with these questions, please do so. Curious as to the response we'll get.
