Coba I just hiked around mesmerized by what the Maya did-- they built that lake!

No swimming at Tulum- it was packed-- that is why I loved Coba. Did not make it Chichen Itza-- but that is on my list.

Rented a NEW VW Bug (they still made 'em in Mexico) and on the drive to Coba it literally RAINED monarch butterflies-- I have never seen anything like it!

The feeling I got at Coba is only outdone by the feelings I had in the Catacombs in Rome-- I had been there "before"-- very spiritually moving...
