Individual Investor seems to get quite ahead of itself sometimes. Magic 25 stocks tend to do better in the years following. II stated that themselves in one of the recent issues. I think they don't know much more about Ampex than we do. Like someone mentioned, the stock did hold fairly strong throughout the day. If the market lags in '97 AXC should still do well. Small company stocks are said to have the advantage in a otherwise unfriendly market. Personally I wouldn't mind if there was a selloff-"the better to buy you with my dear"-because if there is it won't be permanent.
