Just wondering if anyone else saw the article in Village Voice about male
impotence. The main thrust of the article is about the pill that was accidentally
found to work wonders for male sexual dysfunction. It was supposed to be a heart
medication. One of the big pharmaceutical companies has it; I forget which one.
Senetek was not mentioned by name in the article but there was mention of current
therapies involving injection into the penis (e.g., Senetek) or even insertion of a
suppository into the urethra. Point of the article was that once this pill hits the
market in two years, who would want to inject himself to obtain an erection when all
you'll have to do is take a pill? Does not bode well for Senetek, IMHO. Yes, Senetek
might get a jump start on its injection-style therapy with an earlier FDA approval,
but considering its limited resources, I don't know. Yes, I see that Gerlof has
exercised his options but on the other hand what choice did he have?
Just some grist for the mill.
