You need a judgement before you can say you successfully defended a patent - SRCM got a settlement. From what I understand, SRCM sued GTE then went begging for a settlement. For the record, I would not consider suing someone then saying - hey I give-up we'll let you do what ever you want, defense of a patent. Cheers Steve
