Hey Sweetie, I was SERIOUS! I wasn't teasing you--I laughed and then I couldn't think of a good comeback! So I capitulated and bowed respectfully. But yes, it is demeaning to real health issues, although he might argue that I'm discriminating when I say that preventing a woman's death by early detection of breast cancer is more important than extending his 82 year old life (which statistically is over anyway). I'm delighted that he's lived so long. But if he believes doing it one more time is more important than preventing the death of someone from colon cancer, (a subject I never kid about) then I hope it rots and falls off. God give me the wisdom to know when I'm done and to accept it with grace.
