TI2 & all, have You got any clue why PLAB is doing badly compared with DPMI & MASK right now ? PLAB was downgraded, MASK was maintained and DPMI was upgraded. Wonder what kind of troubles on their own they do have that the rest of the photomask industry is currently NOT sharing ? Could it be the "sandwich" phenomenon, i.e. positioning ? Not the cheapo road that MASK embarked (no prime R&D but little overhead and costs down to max) nor the DPMI road to pioneer new substrates that are expected to bring DUV down to new density records ? (ie. CYMI link in the famous experiment.. ) ?? Seems like a disparity is going to unfold and a good incident to get into MASK again if my assumptions can hold .. best regards CROSSY
