For what it's worth, I've had PacBell's home-ISDN for several months.
My adapter is US Robotics which supports an analog phone so you
pick up an extra phone line as well as an internet connection. My only
problem was early on when the drivers shipped with the card were
not adequate to support it. Once I downloaded new ones from USRX,
everything was cool.

I love ISDN and don't know why PacBell doesn't push it harder. Maybe it really is a money-loser for them.
