Another accounting question:

Would it have been possible to treat the buy back of the convertible bonds in a more favorable light? Maybe even artificially squeeze an extra penny or two of earnings out of the quarter by changing the method of accounting?

I wonder if Alex B pressured Hagedorn to be less conservative. Contrary to popular opinion, I think Alex B desperately wants to get the stock price of CUBE back up, and I imagine he may be placing some blame around the company.
