Gregor,

Hmmm... interesting. Here's a couple of thoughts on what you wrote:

I believe the Bible tells us there were a few who showed Jesus mercy, compassion, and love on the day of His crucifixion.

Inasmuch as other people who sin... I think each must find his or her own road to salvation or Nirvana or enlightenment or whatever. Some people never bother - such is their right. Some people try but fail - unfortunate. Some people aren't true to themselves (i.e., hypocrites) and may find false enlightenment - too bad. Some people find it, then lose it - maybe it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all... doubtful... painful. Some people find it, and try to tell others... but either few listen or in telling others they lose it. And some people find it and keep it... and he rest of us never even realize it. :-) Who knows?

If the thinking of the flesh bothers you so, then why don't you try to think another way? Challenge your thoughts of the flesh. It can't hurt to try.... or can it? I don't know the answer to that one either.

Greg
