Now that the quarterly numbers are out, we can conclude that points 1 through 8 were fairly accurate, so perhaps Hagedorn really was the source. If so then point number 9, which was puzzling about not wanting to buy back any shares to protect against a takeover, might be meaningful.

CUBE wound up essentially purchasing shares back when they bought the bonds. There might have been an internal fight over this issue, which led to his departure.
