BILLY BOYLE - King of the Hypesters?

Billy Boyle, since joining Si May 22, has started no less than 4 threads for Cachet Enterprises (CED.v), as well as sharing his insight on others such as The Canadian Hot Stocks Club and the #1 Canadian small caps threads. What is particularly strange is his constant wavering between posts making judicious use of exclamation marks such as these:
"Denise, Cachet Enterprises is the best deal on the planet! "
" Cachet is expecting to have a news release in the next couple of days watch for it to take off!"
"Now finally big news!!!! Investors should expect a 500% return on their investment at these prices of $1.00"
...and many many more, and his oft quoted insistance that he and his 'club' are quietly trying to accumulate as cheep as possible.
That brings us to his club, just he, his closest 2000 friends and the 500 he hopes on recruiting on SI, as evidenced here:

Some further background finds that Billy Boyle signed up for SI and started his enthusiastic comments on CED at the exact same time that an internet 'club' email tout sheet (known as the McDo club)started to recommend CED - AMAZING coincidence!
The premise of the McDO club was that picks would be made, and all supposedly 700 members were to place market buy orders a the open to create volume and price moves that would attract others, thereby allowing them to quickly flip for nice profits. Unfortunately, in a surprise to all, the club picks tended to open strong, then drop like a rock, in some cases 50%.
It really starts to get interesting when one considers that 2 of the clubs 'daytrades' ended up being recommended as long term holds. One was CED, the other THW.v. Interestingly, THW has it's own enthusiastic proponent known as Mr Staya, whom regularly posted on any thread one could possibly get a mention of 'Buy THW Now!!' in. Some background on Mr Staya shows, in another remarkable coincidence, that he posted to virtually all the McDO club picks, other than CED, at both SI and stockhouse.com(Until a certain SI trial member pointed out some of these coincidences there). Lately Mr. Staya seems to have vanished from SI to, possibly do the the posting on the THW thread of links to a detailed investigation into evidence of his involvement with the club, as can be seen here:

The really amazing coincidence, as detailed in part 3, is that both Billy Boyle and Mr. Staya decided to take a break from posting to SI at the same time!!! Imagine the odds, two posters, each cheering on stocks recommended by McDo, one easily proven to be connected to the McDO club (see excerpts of postings in part 2), the other starting a club (depending on the day, one day its intending to start a club, 2 days later its adding to the long time existing club). There is also clear evidence that Staya has been a multiple personality in the past.
I submit, Billy Boyle is well qualified to be inducted into Hypesters corner, as is Mr. Staya, should he return (although a new trial member known as Marty Stephens seems to be picking up right where Staya left off in spamming go THW! - right from the day after Staya's last post). Of course, inducting one of these characters may automatically include them both. |
