Tom, Compaq split right around the Digital acquistion, and the stock has taken a long time to recover. If LU is planning a "blockbuster" acquisition such as COMS or ASND, would a split now hurt LU in the same manner? Or would a split announcement in July, with a runup to the Oct. 1 lifting on pooling of interest moratoriam actually give LU more market capitalization to work with?
