Wow, you are right - I think I had done an average of the previous three ROIC's a few months back, although in redoing this I see the average is 183% and not 186% as I represented. But adding in the 229% and dropping the 154% via your numbers below, it becomes 208% ROIC. No matter how you cut it, these numbers rock - I don't know of any company that even comes close to matching this type of ROIC....as your clip points out, their last q's ROIC is 4x that of their nearest competitor.

I have seen that the best performing stocks have the best ROE's and ROIC's - as it should be because it means their business model is rewarding the shareholders the most. Therefore, it always makes sense to me to allocate your funds to the people who can make the best use of it - and in this case, no company I am aware of can make better use of your equity than Dell!

Thanks for the update on ROIC - 229% ROIC is truly mind-boggling and will continue to be incredibly rewarding for us longs.
