Boy, that Urban Survival is sure an upbeat publication!. But, the last time I saw comparisons with the 1929's was after the crash in 1987. It was popular then to compare how similar the charts were after the crash, then the subsequent rally for several weeks later into 1988. They looked almost like mirror images leading one to conclude that we were going to go through a crash similar to the 1929-30 crash.

The similarities continued until they stopped looking the same!!! At that time apparently the conclusion was reached that just because it looked the same for several weeks didn't mean the outcome would be identical to what is was previously. Be careful how you reach conclusions.
