<<What do you think cats think when they see BIG birds?>>

Hard to tell what a cat is ever thinking. I have noticed when my wife's cats are in the pasture and the shadow of a large hawk passes over they head for the cover of the ditch.

A couple of years back I had two Giant Canada Geese land in the back yard. Not the regular migratory type at 10 pounds but the big local suckers, around 15 pounds. Lo and behold one of the cats starts making a stalk. This was on mowed grass so the geese could see him. He gets to within three feet and does a lot of twitching and weight shifting but never makes the final charge. Finally the geese got bored and when they started flapping their six foot wing spans, kitty left for the shed.
