Ramsey, In regard to your comment at Reply 276, I think you are wrong regarding the statement that Qualcomm is not harmed by the Nortel problems, for the following reasons: 1) Qualcomm has a unique agreement with Nortel, unlike the royalty agreements with Lucent, etc. in that when Nortel gets a contract, Qualcomm shares in the manufacturing aspect as well as receipt of revenues. If Nortel does not succeed in its ventures, it definitely will affect Qualcomm's bottom line. 2) The Sprint conctract carries with it substantial potential penalties for both Nortel and Qualcomm. It is unclear at this point whether the glitch now affecting Nortel will also call into play Qualcomm's penalty feature. 3) Any glitch by a CDMA manufacturer hurts Qualcomm because the nay sayers are still out there.
