We had a cat name o Hudson. He disappeared, in his prime. We live near a wood, and there are always hawks and sometimes eagles circling overhead. MJ is convinced he was taken by a hawk. A Hudson Hawk, come to think of it. No, really.

Getting carried away, maybe hundreds of feet off the ground, by a giant bird wreaking vengeance for all the hummingbirds and baby robins and chickadees and nut finches (you didn't even eat); squirming uselessly in the pinchy-pokey carelessly adjusted talons, (and then thinking better of it); getting dropped in a treetop nest and pecked to death and strips torn off ya and eaten by beaky momma and her fluffheads, would upset a cat.
