FMK: Thanks for the input! It's because of the large backer situation, eg. Carl B., that I haven't given as much credence to R.C.'s "the desperate need for financing will require the company to agree to non-shareholder friendly financing," type of thinking. But it IS worth remembering.
Still, the reality is VLNC needs to act, and announce, soon because all public indications are they're running out of cash. Be it by accepting the large backer's loan, or debt/equity financing, or some combination thereof, some announcement must be coming out of them soon, eh? And need I say that the stock price, since the Street is fully aware of this fact, ain't about to go anywhere until financing has been decided. VLNC's reputation is just too negative right now. However, if they've decided and begun to implement a plan then legally they've got to inform the shareholders. So, something should be forthcoming soon, or that great sucking sound will be the cash running out. ;-)
As I've said before, don'tch'a just luuuv speculating?
