Gene - Re: "Can you imagine what the big OEM's will pay? " How much do you think those Big OEM's are going to pay for AMD's second-rate products if Intel's 350 MHz Pentium II sells for $210? Assuming Mendocino sells for $180, AMD will have to launch their brand new top-of-the-line K6-3 with 256K L2 cache at $135 to maintain their 25% discount to Intel's comparable CPU. AMD will then be charging only about $80 or $90 for their K6-2, and $50 or $60 for their 300 Mhz K6's. Looks like we will have a lot of fun waiting for AMD's Q398 and Q498 "losses" reports. Paul
