Hey, David,
Since the Dow 5 theory is based upon only 5 stocks, and all mutual funds are required by the SEC not to hold more than 5% of their portfolio in any one stock, no mutual fund will have the 'Dogs of Dow.' However, a Unit Investment Trust can be obtained that is essentially the same thing from an investors point of view. A new series is available each month with the portfolio of the Dow 5, ie, in November, the stocks were AT&T, CHEVRON, GENERAL MOTORS, INTERNATIONAL PAPER, and MINNESOTA MINING. The UIT that seems to be popular is the TARGET FIVE TRUST, which is issued by Nike Securities and sponsored by First Trust in Illinois. Their phone is: 800.621.1675.
Let me know if you buy some. I'm into it and doing very well.
Jim
