Bay Networks adds voice for Cable Modems Bay will add voice to its cable modems by year end and will add IP voice technology to its modem next years. The technology comes from NetSpeak, a recent acquisition. Apparently, none of the other companies have plans to add voice to their cable modems. techweb.com
