As a reference to whether using the RS as a tool to selecting stocks:

Recently, I chose 8 stocks for all the usual reasons, above trend line, positive RS, good chart patterns, sector reversed up from low levels etc. etc. - but I specifically chose those whose RS had JUST reversed up into X's. Know what? Those 8 stocks are up 47% collectively in two weeks.
Using an RS reversal whether long or short, is a powerful tool. Great for long term and trade purchases.
Never, never, never ignore the RS signals and reversals. Did I say never?
