Gary, I think you are giving mr. Greenjeans way to much credit. His words this week have once again given the sharp investor another buying opportunity.But the chance didn't last very long as the market rebounded off it friday lows.I think we have heard this kind of bs from Alan before.First and foremost he is an inflation hawk, a paranoid man who gave us the WIN (whip inflation now) buttons during the Pres. Ford years.That sent Ford back to mich. My take on those silly comments this week is in reaction to the the government panel that finally admited that the CPI numbers overstated Many of us have known this for years.The US has one of the worst systems for counting inflation.It is way outdated.Mr. Greenjeans was trying to counter that fact with talk about market excess.Give me a break!! Conditions in the economy are strong for equities as the recent runup was concentrated in large caps now the market will rotate to the value in small caps.Mr. Greenjeans can take little credit in the productivity gains through technology which is the driving force in the economy.
