K,imagine if you don't frequent SI or any other electronic forum, and you just got your notice two weeks prior? SO WHAT? Did you just fall off the turnip truck? Do you sit around marking your calendar when each of your investments' annual meeting proxies come in the mail?
.
Maybe some of you folks don't need any real notice to just up and fly to Florida or anywhere else, but some DCI investors still have to work for a living, and probably would appreciate enough notice to at least be able to try and get a discounted air fare. If someone actually wanted to attend a meeting then it SHOULD HAVE behoved them to take some initiative and FIND OUT THEMSELVES, rather than wait by their mailbox day by day looking for the postman to bring the information to them. Gawd, some of you people are so d* lazy it is pathetic.
.
I am the CEO of a corporation, and we have fairly specific rules (i.e., bylaws) that govern when we have to send out notice re the annual meeting. yadda yadda yadda AGAIN, SO WHAT? DCI complied with their bylaws.
.
Ernie aimed some legitimate criticisms at DCI management.
NO that is NOT the issue here. It was stated that there was going to be NO MAILING OF THE NOTICE. THAT'S the reason for putting that ridiculous allegation to bed THEN, and following up NOW.
