Check out Amati Communications (AMTX). Stock has doubled in past week and is continuing a STRONG upward climb! Volume has been 2 million + on 4 of the last 6 trading days. This has accompanied increases in the stock price from 10 to 13. To put this into perspective, average vol is only 388,000 shares. It had only seen 2+million shares on one other occasion before this week. From a technical standpoint, this stock can easily double to 26 in a very short time. Amati is a leader in ADSL technology which enables internet access at very highe speeds. We have all seen what innovative technology can often do for the stock price of the company. When fund managers pick up on these situations, which it has only begun to, look out! GTE is working with and testing Amati's products. They have had VERY positive things to say about the speeds available with this technology. As well, Motorola has agreed to license Amati's patented DMT version of ADSL technology. It is my opinion that the internet will be big, but only if it is made much faster and the image quality improves dramatically. Amati technology allows this to happen. I see AMTX going to 30 in a month. Possibly even higher. Anyway, this is a great opportunity I wanted to let Teletek followers know about. I was fortunate enough to have bought TLTK back when it was at 4 1/2 and sell 1 1/2 weeks later at 9 1/4. I feel like I owed the contributors of this thread for this.
