Rosemary-- OH GOD!! Go back and read the whole thread before you jump all over Jeff. Why shouldn't people know about Kinky Friedman and his band? And his books, and all the rest of it. Why do you feel you "have to say something"? The Kinkster is real, and he did indeed have a C&W band (in the '70s) called the Texas Jewboys. They thought it was funny. And, as I've remarked earler, if you think the name of the band is tasteless, try the titles of some of their songs. Hey, don't jump the gun when you don't know what you're talking about; ask first.
