OK..OK...since you all asked..
Here is a little true story for you just to give you an idea of what this Collins "ace"..lol..reporter is all about... Before the AGM ,he went on and on about wanting to meet me and wanting to ask me questions, and asking if I would be there..etc. etc. (presumably he wanted to do a story on exceptional internet touts...lol) ...
Well, he knew I was going to be there, he knew my real name...so he had ample opportunity to find me for an interview...but, here is what happened..
Jerry enters the lobby outside the room the AGM was to be held at..but immediately goes and hides in the washroom for 15 minutes..until about two minutes before the meeting was to start. What he was doing in there I do not know...but I believe I heard him humming some George Michael tunes..(Yes, I know its an old joke...but still humourous IMO)
When he signed in, he did so RIGHT BELOW MY NAME...he admits to seeing it.
He sat two seats away from me but other than a cursory glance in my direction, he didn't bother talking to me. Darn, I even wore my name tag on my right lapel so that he would definitely see it...I am sure that he did...I mean he is a reporter...right...and a reporter would be taking in the sights instead of just staring straight ahead into the lights or down at his notepad so as to avoid any eye contact with others..
When the AGM was over, I went to look for him...guess what..he ran out of the building and down the block...I think he might have come close to beating the 100 meter world record.
I chased him, but by the time I got out of the hotel, I could see him fading in the distance several blocks away. The catch phrase is no longer "Run Forrest, RUN"...it is now "RUN JERRY RUN"
Better yet, when I question him about all of this upon my return to Toronto and my computer, he actually states that I (Clive D.) am NOT Avalon and that even if he had met me, it wouldn't have mattered as he wanted to talk to "AV"...not Clive...ROTFLMAO at Jerry.... I am assuming he has proof of this claim...but he has yet to show it.
LOL...yes, Jerry is quite brave when he is thousands of miles away and posting on the internet...but when it comes to facing the subjects of his posts, articles and criticisms...he is just another HACK reporter who believes that controversy, not truth, is more important in a story.
