I do have an animal hospital near.....I think it took me about 15 minutes to get there. What was so strange is how one needed 2 teeth pulled, major big deal for a cat- knocked out-did something with her neck-yuk. Then the same day she got her final check up for post operative stuff the other one started acting strange. I thought it was the fact the it was 85 degrees in the house, no one was moving so fast around here, but when she didn't eat and she started hiding under the bed I knew I had a problem. The hospital doc had all kinds of terrifying ideas as to the cause. My regular doc, the next morning, said I think your cats been in a fight soooo lets go with the fight treatment for now. He is keeping her for a few days while I am out of town. Single parenthood is very difficult ........I don't know how parents with actual human children do it. I have taken for granted the good health of my cats. It is very troubling to have to travel when you have a sick.........cat
