Thanks for the response, but I still don't see how CCI can be the "Best Buy" for CD's on the Internet when they haven't sold one yet.
I was asked to post this by a trial member: Comments anyone?

Mr Wiseowl, I am not currently in TSIG, but have been watching. Since I am a trial member I can not post. Just wanted to let you know that today I bought two (2) smashing pumkings cds (Title:Adore) from CDNow and the total cost was

$ 25.16 Subtotal (2 items)
$ 3.98 Shipping & Handling

$ -10.00 $10.00 off with Double Coupon (Free Double Coupon found when you search for CDNow at altavista)

$ 19.14 TOTAL

At CompactConnection I will have ended paying for these cds

$21.98 (2 items with MusicCardTM)
$3.00 Shipping & Handling

$24.98 Total.

I'm not a basher, just wanted to make a point. Compact Connections is advertising itself as the cd shop with best prices in the internet and as you see in the previous example they are not. Please advise and sorry if I disturb you, I am just doing my DD.

Would you be so kind to post this on the tread.

Best Regards,

TC

Also ( this is me , again ), I asked my wife how much we pay for CD's.
She buys through Columbia House and BMG. She says that on average, we pay about 7 or 8 dollars per CD, averaging out the "free" and cheap ones with the ones we pay full price ($16.95) for. So, I guess I'm not at all convinced that the CC prices are competitive.
