Here's what I found...

I did the Alta Vista search, and found a link which told you how to get two discounts. The first was a $10 off your first order, but it expired on April 30th. The second was $3.00 discount, but it says only one per customer and for a limited time only.

As far as the freebies and cheapies from Columbia House go, I've also taken advantage of those deals. Yes, it brings the average price of the CD down, but I also find I end up getting CDs I don't really want or wouldn't buy otherwise. Case in point, I think I have about six CDs downstairs from CH that are still in the cellophane. So was it really a bargain? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

One other important thing to factor in is the broadness of selection. Compact Connection will have to offer a good variety of new and old titles to get people to pay for the card. That will be one of the first things I look at before buying a card.
