<catching up on old messages after returning from vacation>

I wonder if part of the selloff in the face of Dr. Valentine's presentations at Geneva may have been due to general unawareness that different types of "vaccines" exist.

Generally speaking, IMNR's business might be described as "developing a vaccine for AIDS".

But then comes the news, which penetrated the popular media pretty well, saying that (in effect) "a vaccine against AIDS actually *causes* the disease."

For someone who examines the case no more thoroughly than that, IMNR would be a screaming sell.

But my understanding from reading this thread is that REMUNE differs significantly from the vaccine which caused the problems. Am I correct in this?

Disclosure: I am long a modest position in IMNR.
