Yes, I did INDEED notice the thread header.

I also noticed the following post by "Amigo Sergio" in which he defined the "Amigo strategy" differently:

"The stocks that the 3 Amigos pick are not daytrades. We do not post after the fact how we got in at the low of the day and sold at the high of the day. We're in for the long haul unless the fundamentals change and we post our trades in advance. The daytrades that we do individually and/or collectively are not worth posting about. That's not the purpose of this thread. Just wanted to remind everyone that the 3 Amigos are looking for stocks for the long haul and not one day events. We trust that people investing with us will find handsome returns without losing any sleep."

If you don't see any conflict between the many short-term trades posted on this board (including VVUS) and the approach espoused in that post, you aren't using your head. THAT'S the crux of my argument here. Your reponse to this SPECIFIC point?

Sergio: regarding STVI, it's interesting that you consider the difference between registered and non-registered dealers to be "minutia" (I guess it's minutia after I'm proven correct). When you are ready to dump your STVI, try selling it to a non-registered market maker...please tell me how you make out...
