TG,

I have just completed faxing a letter to CSMA in regards to the current situations being discussed on this thread. I have done this for my own reasons as I wanted to give the company some information for the purpose of soliciting an official response. Included in the fax were some of the postings on this board for the last few days. I wanted the company to get a good overall picture of what exactly was being discussed. I do this as an individual investor seeking information about my own investment in CSMA common stock. Below is a copy of what I have sent them.

Mr H K Elrod 07/18/98
Coconino SMA
Salt Lake City UT

Mr. Elrod,

I would like to introduce myself to you and your management team. My name is David Hayes and am currently an investor in Coconino SMA. My current position of ownership is 65,000 shares of your companies common stock. As an investor in an OTCBB non reporting company my investment decision in buying stock is purely my own. I have based some of that decision on the potential as I see it for your companies future growth. Some of the ways that I gather information for my investments are from the companies press releases and internet stock message boards. I take the press releases from the company at face value and the internet stock discussions as opinions from people that may have their own agendas for posting information. One of the places on the internet where CSMA is discussed at length is on Silicon Investor. I have found this site to be a good place for increasing my knowledge as an investor by sharing investment thoughts and ideas with people from many different countries and walks of life. I have also found it to be a place where open ideas are exchanged, be they good or bad about some of the companies that I may invest in. I have read in the press releases from your company going back that you are trying to increase shareholder value in your company and believe in doing so. If so this is not currently reflected in the price of CSMA stock. I do know the pitfalls of small business and am not pointing fingers at anyones responsibility as timetables for performance can be upset by various contingencies. What has concerned me is the recent postings on Silicon Investor by various parties alleging improprieties in business conduct. I am forwarding them for your review as well as other postings made by myself and others concerning our own opinions of these postings and your company. Some concerns have also been raised about investor treatment by your companies Investor Relations person. If correct, it is very unprofessional conduct. I guess to cut to the chase, what I am interested in is a response from someone in CSMA to exactly what is occuring at the present time in regards to the allegations of impropriety. As a non reporting company information to investors is at a premium. I am not asking for anything that would interfere with any company business plans, just information in regards to legitimate shareholder concerns. I will follow up this letter with a phone call to your office on Tuesday, July 21 1998. I will be interested in hearing your companies response to my concerns. Also a copy of this letter will be posted on the CSMA message board at Silicon Investor after it has been faxed to your offices on July 19 1998. I will be posting the answers to any of the questions that you have decided to address on the CSMA message board and my own opinion of the companies responses. If you would prefer to handle this in an open letter to shareholders addressing these issues that is a preferable option for me.

Sincerely,

David R Hayes

This was faxed to CSMA at number 801 277 0629 which rolled over to number 801 281 4533 at 11:00 AM. Once again this letter is for my own purposes for getting some information from the company as an individual investor. It is in no way meant to discredit anyones personal opinion or thoughts about CSMA. It is meant to give CSMA management an opportunity to comment on what is currently taking place.

Dave
