You misunderstand me. The PC makers who sell thru stores--IBM, Compaq, Packard, Acer, Sony, etc--aren't doing so well. But the direct marketers like Dell and Gateway are going gangbusters. People buy computers thru the mail now--it is a huge shift. Also, I read that something called Soundview upgraded Dell to a buy or something. Why would they do that if Dell's sales were "slowing"?
