Dear Bosco & all, found out a nice new play that many of us on this thread should know about: S-3 (ticker: SIII). I studied their TA (Buy 13 signal imminent) and their new product and concluded: IT IS A WINNER. This will be a top-notch 2D/3D accelerator that can and will give the Vodoo2 a run for its money. Imagine better quality, higher performance at $150 for an 8MB/PCI or AGP video card. Moreover S3 will announce their quarterly July 20th (tomorrow). Consensus is a loss of 21 cents. Bear in mind that this is with their OLD product line (Virge) which is subpar IMHO. Expect even more from this company.. New product is called Savage 3D and hits the market NOW (STB, Diamond, Hercules and others). I'm in the starting lanes and probably will open a position. Also a signal to close any long position on TDFX. Not any potential there. Same is true for ATI of canada (ATY.TO), TRID and the like. The only company I also like in this segment is nVidia. their second source SGS-Thomson is listed on the NYSE under STM.. best regards CROSSY
