I interpret it to mean that both Intuit & Sybase know financial institutions know they need to provide data and transactional capabilities to an array of accounts, not just primary ones, and that together they are going to further their ability to do that. Naturally, if institutions like what they produce they'll use it, and CF will in turn have more institutions promoting the use of their services.

In the long run, I'm hoping the financial institutions that use Quicken/CF and Checkfree directly will look to the portals for delivering services to expanded customer bases, rather then CF doing so directly, which I think would bring about their downfall.
