Next Year
Yes, the Drury would be delighted to get us back, and I think that most of us would be willing to return there. However, looking at the critiques I received, we may not go back to the Drury. NOTE: if so, it would not be because we did not enjoy it or because it was not adequate, but because of some of the things the Drury cannot provide which some of us wanted.
o Better exercise room o CNBC o In-house restaurant o In-house bar o Ambience (you can afford to pay for ambience now, Pat)
Accordingly, after leaving the hotel and visiting the outlet store (which was so crowded we could hardly get in), freeus went with me to check out a different hotel. We had lunch there to see what the food was like, and looked at some of the rooms. It has definite possibilities.
If we decide to make this an annual pilgrimage, so that I could reserve for a couple of years at a time, I could negotiate for better rates. Also, the more rooms we have, the more clout I have in negotiations. Of course, with the meeting being televised now, you all may choose to stay at home and watch from your lazyboy.
Anyhow, just to let you know that we're working it already.
I enjoyed meeting you, and am looking forward to next time. You're so photogenic!
